Our Vision

     In line with our university's vision of “being a model university that serves the needs of research, learning, health, and education without compromising universal, scientific, and ethical values, thereby ensuring our country's pioneering and leading role in the modern world; contributing to the national economy, health, art, and culture; and nurturing enlightened individuals,” the vision of our Faculty of Theology is as follows: “To become one of the leading Faculties of Theology in Turkey and the world by training expert religious scholars who are competent and qualified to provide accurate religious information to society based on the fundamental sources of Islam, countering superstitions and myths, evaluating religious data within the framework of reason and science, and conducting religious education and services at all levels of education.” In order to fulfill our mission and principles, we provide the necessary modern education and organize various scientific meetings within and outside the province to support this education, participate in presentations at organized meetings, take the necessary initiatives to provide education to the public on spiritual matters, and collaborate with institutions and organizations from all segments of society for this purpose.

     Firat University Faculty of Theology, with the pride of fulfilling the responsibility taken from its name and without compromising its core values, has proven its success in the regional, national and international arena with its scientific and academic studies. As a unit of Firat University, a leading institution that has entered among world universities with its understanding of science, management, education, training and contemporary art, it is a pioneering faculty that brings together the basic teachings of religion with scientific and contemporary values, trains religious experts who will guide the society on faith and moral virtues, and produces quality, original and beneficial knowledge at national and international level.
