THE COMMITTEE’S RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To develop principles, standards and recommendations regarding the use of objective, valid and reliable assessment and evaluation tools in pre-graduation education and teaching processes; to collaborate with other committees and departments where necessary.
2. To establish guidelines for the application of assessment and evaluation methods, taking into account their diversity and appropriateness, and to make recommendations to the relevant councils, committees and academic departments.
3. To collect, analyse and evaluate feedback from students, teaching staff and graduates in order to monitor the extent to which programme and course learning outcomes are achieved.
4. To assess the alignment of assessment and evaluation practices with the faculty’s educational objectives, programme competencies and the criteria of the Theology Accreditation Agency; to share the identified strengths and areas for improvement with the relevant units.
5. To organise courses, seminars, workshops and in-service training activities for academic staff to enhance assessment and evaluation processes; to evaluate the feedback obtained from these activities.
6. To archive information, documents and data relating to assessment and evaluation activities in a systematic, accessible and auditable manner.
